WAKKA(ワッカ) Episode 002 では、 毎年秋に開催されている 「パリ・ ゲーム・ウィーク#PGW」 というビデオゲームの展示会に行ってきました。
パリの南西にあるポルト・ド・ベルサイユというエキスポ会場 220,000m2を超える大型パビリオンセンターに、 日本はもとよりヨーロッパの多くのゲームメーカーさんが集まりました。
WAKKAでは、 ゲームの内容を深堀りして紹介するというよりは、 フランスならではのゲームカルチャー事情に注目したいと思います。
まずは、 メジャータイトルのメーカーさん 任天堂、 Ubisoft、 xbox、 バンダイナムコ、SEGA、 Sony、 カプコンを訪問、そして、 プレイステーションの初号機やアーケードゲームで遊べるノスタルジーコーナーでも遊びました。
JEUX MADE IN FRANCE コーナーでは、 フランスのインディーズメーカーさんでテストプレイをさせてもらい、今回初登場となるRPGゲーム”Maliki:Poison Of The Past”のブルーバウンシースタジオにインタビューをさせてもらいました。
最後に、 フランス2030年計画という、 フランスのエンタメ輸出の強化策としてフランス政府が後押ししている、 CG/アニメーションの学校も多く出展されていました。

Dans cet épisode 002 de WAKKA, on a visité la Paris Games Week #PGW, un salon du jeuvidéo qui se tient chaque automne.
De nombreux studios de jeux vidéo du Japon et d’Europe se sont rassemblés au parc des expositions de la Porte de Versailles, un grand centre pavillonnaire de plus de 220 000 m2
situé dans le sud-ouest de Paris.
Plutôt que de présenter en détail le contenu des jeux, WAKKA souhaite mettre l’accent sur la culture ludique des jeux vidéo en France.
Tout d’abord, nous avons visité les fabricants de titres majeurs comme Nintendo, Ubisoft, xbox, Bandai Namco, SEGA, Sony et Capcom. Ensuite, nous avons joué dans le Coin
Nostalgie, où l’on peut jouer avec les premières consoles PlayStation et les jeux d’arcade.
Dans le coin JEUX MADE IN FRANCE, nous avons pu tester les jeux des fabricants indépendants français.
Nous avons également pu interviewer le studio Blue Banshee pour Maliki : Poison Of The Past, un jeu RPG qui est présenté pour la première fois au salon.
Enfin, il y avait également un certain nombre d’écoles de CG/animation, qui font partie du Plan France 2030, une initiative du gouvernement français visant à
stimuler les exportations de divertissement de la France.

In this episode 002 of WAKKA, we visitedParis Games Week #PGW, a video game fair that is held each fall.
Many video game studios from Japan and Europe gathered at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center, a large pavilion center of more than 220,000 m2 located in the southwest of Paris.
Rather than presenting the content of the games in detail, WAKKA wishes to focus on the playful culture of video games in France.
First, we visited the manufacturers of major titles such as Nintendo, Ubisoft, xbox, Bandai Namco, SEGA, Sony and Capcom. Then, we played in the Nostalgia Corner, where visitors can play with the first PlayStation consoles and arcade games. In the MADE IN FRANCE GAMES corner, we were able to try out the games of independent French manufacturers.
We were also able to interview the Blue Banshee studio for “Maliki: Poison Of The Past”, an RPG game that is presented for the first time at the show.
Finally, there were also a number of CG/animation schools, which are part of the France 2030 Plan, a French government initiative aimed at stimulating France’s entertainment exports.
